My recommendation would be to avoid penny stocks..Always invest on market leaders...Outperforming S&P is tough but is doable if emotions are put away and some time is spent on learning...IMO, sectors like Industrial,healthcare,technology,consumer discretionary and financial will do good for decades..Selecting 4 each market leaders from these sectors to build portfolio may be good investment ( just my opinion no guarantee coz no body can time the market)
