Shah kings used to die very young. Rajendra Shah was the only king who managed to survive until in his sixties. He died when he was 67 years of age. Gyanendra Shah is 73 years now. I don't know if he would be still alive if he was still king.

Apparently, it was not easy to be a king in Nepal. I guess it is not easy to be a head of the state in Nepal period. We have seen many short term prime ministers. 🤠
