I really enjoyed the dance! They are some beautiful ladies for sure. Thanks Nas! However, I don't think that it will be easy to reinstate the monarchy in Nepal. It was abolished after 10 years of maoist struggle and at the backdrop of the Royal Massacre 2001. Gyanendra Shah is not popular, and Shah king will represent "Chettri" caste. According to Nepal's demography, 30% of the population are Kirati people. When maoists started civil war in Rolpa, many Rai and Limbu people participated in the war to get rid of "Chettri" rule. The unifier of Nepal Prithivi Narayan Shah quickly realized this and said "यो मेरो साना दुखले अर्ज्या मुलुक होइन | चार जात छतिस वर्णको साझा फूलबारि हो |" Unfortunately, the later kings got busy in the palace with women. And, we know the rest that Rana took over the ruling power in Nepal.

Since you brought Hindu religion, I find the survival of Hindu religion very mind boggling. Buddha couldn't convert Hindus of the South Asia into Buddhism although he was born here. Large number of people in the East Asia and South East Asia converted into Buddhism. At that time Hindu brahmins cleverly made Buddha reincarnation of lord Buddha although Buddha didn't believe in God himself. Other lower caste people were just illiterate to know anything. And, hundreds of year of Muslim rule also couldn't convert all Hindus into Muslims. Muslim rulers succeded in converting everyone into Muslims in the Middle East where they ruled. And, came hundreds of year of the British rule (Christian Missionary), they also couldn't convert all Hindus into Christians. Although the Christianity spread through the West like a wild fire in the last 2000 years. India is certainly a mystic place and Hindu religion is a mystic religion where everything tends to get lose its power slowly. Even communists (maoists) could not totally take over Nepal like Mao did in China.

However, it is the age of capitalism and age of money, and I see that the greed for money is definitely penetrating through the Hindu religion like everything else - like capitalist communism in China. Lets see?
