If it was truly globalist then it would make some sense but the DEM is truly becoming a party of private profit for private corporations.
As far as nationalist vs globalist, it comes down to taxes paid by the citizens. Citizens are paying exorbitant taxes every step of the way only to see that their tax dollars are filling the pockets of democrat masters and their cronies. Billions of US tax dolalrs are going to globalist activities while millions of US people are left without good education, good housing healthcare etc. You would want to focus on your own citizens that is more important that outside. Once your own country citizens are good and taken care of then you can focus on globalist ventures but US is not in that stage yet. Globalism sounds like a good theory but in practice it's all about nationalism everywhere except the US where the DEM's have found a way to make a lot of private profit in the name of globalism by using their own people and corporations exorbitant amount of money in the name of globalist projects.
