After going through several webpages on American Nepal Societies / Communities and Associations, I realized that my expectations from ANA was wrong indeed. I should not have expected them to act like an parent umbrella organization of Nepali organizations in USA. Let the ANA remain as it is at present as a community of Nepalis who know personally each other, so that they can remain peaceful. Only, my surprise is that the ANA does not have a single newsletter nor it has list of its executive members in its website, I wish they have it soon for their own members sake. I am saying parai bata Sayonara to ANA.
Now, in this course of doing research on Nepali organizations, I feel little more comfortable with ANMA and NepalCouncil.org They look more matured and well
established and in good relation with other Nepali communities. In this course of
my own research on understanding the Nepali communities, I found NRN.org.np,
giving some other clues on who is going to lead Nepalis in America as a parent
umbrella. I found NRN Association has two committees NCC and ICC. ICC is supposed
to represent Nepali communities from different countries including USA. Now,
I had difficulty in snapping the names of individuals who represent Nepalis (Nepali
communities) in USA based on NRN.org.np. Is there anyone who knows the individuals
who are in ICC / NCC of NRNA representing Nepali (communities) in USA? It looks
the NRNA-ICC (USA) can act as an important group of peoples who can lead to
integrate Nepalis and Nepali communities in USA? How were these individuals
nominated in the ICC? Or, such ICC as mentioned in nrn.org.np does not exist in
realty?
