Dr. Fauci is an American physician and immunologist who has served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. I don’t think he works for CDC. CDC has been really incompetent themselves. Trump sent out very confusing n misleading message in the beginning days. CDC is hiding behind and just updated about travel advisories. When China was struggling, none of our leaders in federal and state level were serious enough to study genome of virus, work on vaccines or prepare PPE for healthcare employees. Everyone was wait and see mode, when virus has been circulating for months and months.It’s plain dangerous how healthcare workers are thrown in frontline, with out PPEs. CoVid Virus need to be contained- isolate and quarantine STAT. But everything was lagging.
CDC confusing guidelines, faulty tests in beginning days spread virus more. FDA could not clear tests in time for other clinical labs and testing facilities, who wanted to make their own tests. And trump comes out with self made research and fake scientific facts. You add all of them together and was disaster. Now Dr Fauci comes around and tells that 200K people will die and that seems like to happen. I’m sick of how the government officials both in federal and state level handled this situation. CDC people need to be fired and FDA needs to learn how to work in emergency situations. Very incompetent leadership who are overpaid for their freakin bullshit PHD and MD.
