Certain efforts (of body, speech, or mind) bear certain results. However, the timing and the magnitude of the results is unknown. It depends on various causes and conditions. So, instead of worrying about the nature and the timing of the ?fal? one should just focus on the task at hand. If u are not attached to the fruit of your actions, u will be less anxious and more efficient and effective at performing the task at hand, whether its sweeping a floor or finding a solution to a technical problem. Hence, krishna?s statement ?karma gara, fal ko asha nagara? was valid then and is still valid in today?s high-tech world. tabsher
