Have a social security number
Get a phone number under your name
Get an internet connection to your house in your name
Get electricity for your house in your name
Get an apartment in your name
Keep making payments to all the utilities and apartment costs monthly.
Have a checking/saving account in bank where you deposit whatever money you earn via check
Wait for 6 months, apply for credit card with banks like citi, discover, bank of america.
You necessarily do not need prepaid credit card (also known as secured credit card) to get post paid credit card (also known as unsecured credit card).
