Maya is an illusion. You grow up assuming there is such a thing as love. You grow up watching Tv watching movies assuming there is a thing such as love but then you grow up understanding it's an illusion. As soon as you love somebody you give the other person the right to abuse you. Perhaps your definition of love is different from the other person but you feel betrayed that you're not getting what you deserve.
