Hey, i have been laid off for a while and am wondering to see if i can use this time to get myself either the MCSA or the MCSE certifications. I don't know excatley how long is a good time to get prepared considering that i must say i am average with the Microsoft and it's components. I know, it could be easy for most people but i do have all the time now and i don't mind studying. Please help me out with your experiences and give me your words of wisdom so i can enhance my career, please and thank you.

Well,

are u planning to do on 2008 or 2003?? Well, it took me a while to complete MCSE. I failed 290  and 91 2 times...!! then in 3rd attempt i passed!! the most difficult is Active Directory 70-294 and Network Infrastructure (must be 290/91) . I forgot the exact exam numbers. in 294  and 291 simulations are very hard. you neeed to have a thorough understanding of technical know how!!

it took me 2 months to pass all 7 papers (even i had some 3 years of experience on win2k server and windows 2003)
