Hello Everybody!!

I just passed the NCLEX exam and I got the license also. Since I came to US in F-1 status as an international student, I have no idea what to do next. How can I apply for H1B. What is the procedure to apply for H1B??

Any suggestion is hearltly welcomed.

hire an immigration lawyer..and do exactly what he tells you to do.. do you have somebody who has gone through all this??? u better consult them!!!.where are u??? maybe i could help you!!!

I live in Kansas. And I don't have anybody who can help me regarding my case. So I am hopeful I will get some answer from Sajhahities.

Does anybody knows about the initial process so that one can  practice nursing in USA.? I am totally new and know nothing on this issue. My neice has completed here three years course after SLC and and now working in Nepal.

Your niece need to do certificate validation with CGFNS or some other organization in US first. Then, she has to apply for particular board of nursing in USA. Ofcourse, she either need to take NCLEX for license or CGFNS exam.

For details, your niece can communicate with the National Council of  State Board of  Nursing.

Nurse haru le USA ma kahle bata kam garna pauchaan ta ? ahele ta retrogression chaa hoina ra ? i am little confused, can anyone explain in detail about the current situation in USA. thanks guys

the only solution i see is wait for the retrogression to end. if your done with opt then do something else to maintain your status. even though you've 4 yrs degree, you r not eligible for h1b. www.allnurses.com used to have tons of info on this but i guess they don't have it anymore. too bad!
you can always hope that this new administration to do something about it. A lot of ppl say there's enough nursing workforce in U.S. and others disagree. Personally, i can see a significant number of nurses retiring in the next 10 years. i hope obama and his admin does something, but you never know. even if it's done, how soon?? with all the focus in this economy i doubt there'll be much discussion about this issue.
for now, just wait...and may be write to the congress?
