I am trying to help somebody residing Nepal has just completed 3 years nursing course after SLC.
1) Can s/he sit in RN exam without US Education? OR s/he eligible for RN board exam???
2) Different State has different rules; I heard California has easy rules for Nurses from abroad.
3) And further education?
Highly appreciate your valuable suggestion.

What college she attended in Nepal?

Those who graduated from TU, including teaching, bir hospital and sanepa nursing may need to take additional credits in Psychiatric before they can be elligible for California board of nursing, unless you do trick to raise your credit hours through the home college.

I think, one of the easiest states for any Nepalese nursing graduates is Colorado Board of Nursing, where you do not need any extra credits. And, it is always possible to endorse to any other state you want once you get license, in most cases.

Questions:
1. Credential Evaluation ko lagi kun address ma documents pathaune ho?
2. Credentials Evaluation pachi ke garne? State license lini ho ki NCLEX dine ho? I heard that to register for NCLEX, state approval is required. Is that true?
3. If true what are the procedure for state aproval for NCLEX?
Please suggest me with the time it takes for all these things.
Thanks

1) Apply for the credential evaluation service (CGFNS, http://www.cgfns.org/sections/programs/ces/) following the istruction given in this page. There are two options

Full Education Course-by-Course Report ($328.00)
Healthcare Profession & Science Report ($278.00)

Follow the state board requirement to selct which one you want. In your app, list the state board of nursing where you want CGFNS to send the report.

2) Apply to the state board of nursing of your choice. State board of nursing evaluates your application, including the CGFNS report and informs you, if you are elligible for NCLEX exam. Generally takes 2-4 monts and Nepalese nurses will be illigible in most of the states.

3) You pay a $200 exam fee (at www.pearsonvue.com) to get the Athorizatiopn To Test (ATT) number and schedule for the NCLEX exam.
