It has always amazed me why Nepalis open Indian Restaurants. To me, Nepali food has always been the bestest of food. Why are Nepalis with enough resources to open an Indian Restaurant at least try to promote Nepali food?

GOOd point bidwan, may be cuz they dont have as much brain as u, or may be they think that nepalese are good at taste and testing food.... or dont know man kinda lost in translation...

There's nothing wrong in speaking other languages either it be hindi or other languages. People like when you speak in their language. I even try to learn other languages to speak to other language speakers. We or our language is not that weak that we're going to lose our identity just by speaking hindi.

I speak newari man, n' I don't look like indian. I also like when some non-newar try to speak some words of newari to me. It's not gonna threaten his language, but actually it just makes me respect that person even more.

the only reason is marketing. how many americans will say: oh! lets go for a nepali restaurant for dinner?
indian food comes among the top popular food (speciality cuisine type) in USA
having said that nepali restaurants can do a good business too, but will be limited business scope. i think there are few nepali restaurants too. i could be wrong.
