Rise of Saddam like dictatorship in Nepal

Dear Nepalese Brother and Sister,

If the following act of Nepalese government is true, we should submit letter condemning the act to UN, UNHRC and Nepalese embassy.

We should stop this from happening .... this is a shameful and condemable act.

Government have no rights to punish innocent people and minor for the incident at New Baneshwor.

Royal family should learn from the incident, if they react in revenge then soon time will come when it will bullet or bomb hitting the Royal Motorcade not stone...

Down with monarchy!
Down with Killer Parash!

If we keep quiet now, tomorrow government will announce they have not arrested any one and those arrested will be killed and burried in Jungle of Nagarjun palace.



पक्राउ परेका १८ जना हिरासतमै

काठमाडौं, मंसिर १८ - राजधानीको नयाँ बानेश्वरमा एमाले र राजावादीबीच ढुंगा हानाहान भएपछि प्रहरीद्वारा शुक्रबार मीनभवनबाट गिरफ्तार गरिएका १८ जनालाई बिनापुर्जी शनिबार पनि हिरासतमा राखिएको छ । प्रहरीले उनीहरूलाई सवारीका बेला ढुंगामुढा गरेको आरोप लगाएको छ ।

राजदम्पतीलाई लिन विमानस्थल जाँदै गरेको कारगेटसहितको कार झडपमा परेपछि प्रहरीले बाटामा हिँडिरहेका व्यक्ति र मीनभवनका घरघरमा जबर्जस्ती पसेर साँझसम्म जथाभावी पक्राउ गरेको थियो ।

पक्राउ परेकामा भीएस निकेतन स्कुलबाट घर फर्किरहेका चार विद्यार्थी सुवास लामा, अर्जुन लामा, उज्ज्वल मास्के र सजिन भट्टसमेत छन् । ९ र १० कक्षामा पढ्ने ती विद्यार्थीको आइतबार परीक्षा छ । उनीहरू ँहाम्रो परीक्षा छुट्ने भयो? भनेर रोइरहे पनि प्रहरीले बेवास्ता गरिरहेको जानकारी अभिभावकले दिएका छन् ।

उनीहरूलाई शान्तिनगर गेट नजिकबाट पक्राउ गरिएको थियो । हिरासतमा राखिएकामा मीनभवनका बाह्र वषर्ीय शंकरथिङ तामाङसमेत छन् । आफन्तलाई खोज्दै आएका व्यक्तिलाई प्रहरीले को को गिरफ्तार गरिएका छन् भन्ने सामान्य जानकारीसमेत नदिएको गुनासो पीडितले गरेका छन् ।

गिरफ्तार गरेको २४ घन्टाभन्दा बढी भइसके पनि प्रहरीले उनीहरू कसैलाई पनि पक्राउ पुर्जी दिएको छैन । प्रहरीले उनीहरूलाई 'ढुंगा हानेको हो कि होइनस् ?' भनी कुटपिट गर्दै बयान लिइरहेको स्रोतले जनाएका छन् । उनीहरूले आफूहरूलाई भेट्न आएका व्यक्तिलाई प्रहरीले दिएको यातनाको चोटसमेत देखाएका थिए ।

स्रोतका अनुसार यातनाका बारेमा कसैलाई नभन्नसमेत प्रहरीले उनीहरूलाई धम्क्याइरहेको छ । प्रहरीले सम्पर्क गर्न नदिएकाले पक्राउ परेकामध्ये धेरैजसोले आफू पक्राउ परेको खबरसमेत आफ्नो घरमा दिन पाइरहेका छैनन् ।

उनीहरूलाई २४ घन्टासम्म खानासमेत दिइएको छैन । प्रहरीले ओढ्ने/ओछ्याउनेसमेत नदिएकाले उनीहरू जाडाले कठ्यांगि्रइरहेको र राति निदाउनसमेत नसकेको जानकारी स्रोतले दिएका छन् ।

हिरासतमा राखिएकामा नवराज थपलिया, राजकुमार भण्डारी, रवीन्द्र कार्की, सुमन भेटवाल, सूर्यप्रकाश भट्ट, राजेन्द्र काफ्ले, युवराज राई, पद्मबहादुर मगर, राजकुमार श्रेष्ठ, विनय अर्याल, रामहरि न्यौपाने र विदुर कार्की छन् ।

काठमाडौं जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयका डीएसपी गणेश केसीले पक्राउ परेकामा घटनामा प्रत्यक्ष संलग्न व्यक्तिसमेत भेटिएको दाबी गर्दै छानबिन जारी रहेकाले उनीहरूलाई रिहा नगरिएको बताउनुभयो । छानबिन सकिएपछि निर्दोष जतिलाई आइतबार छाडिने जानकारी उहाँले दिनुभयो

Cops, Students Clash in Thamel

The students affiliated to the All Nepal National Free Students? Union (ANNFSU) today protested in front of the Amrit Science Campus (ASCOL) and Saraswati Multiple Campus against an unidentified group?s bid to attack CPN-UML headquarters in Balkhu, Kathmandu, yesterday.
The demonstrators halted vehicular movement for three hours by burning tyres on the road. The police intervene the agitators and fired 10 rounds of tear gas shells to quell the mob. The police and the demonstrators also pelted stones at each other.
According to Tek Raj Pachhai, Free Students? Union president of ASCOL campus, their demonstration was ?just a threat to pro-King activists, who tried to vandalise CPN-UML?s party office.? The students protested in Thamel area since 8 am.
Thakur Gaire, general-secretary of the ANNFSU, said if the government did not release all the detainees, the students would announce further protest programmes.
ANNFSU said it did not organise protest programmes in front of other campuses considering the ongoing Master?s level examination.
Meanwhile, a report from Pokhara said UML?s zonal committee took out a rally from Prathvi Chowk to protest yesterday?s incident at the UML?s central office. The rally later converged into a corner meeting, which was addressed by all the district level leaders.

This time ANNFSU has valid reason to fight back. I think everyone should join this protest program and most importantly one reason should be to ?unconditional release of 15-20 innocent people including Minors arrested by cops just to save their nose?.?

Same on you cops of Nepal?. you are acting like chamchas? rather than like a real portector of law and order?
