so whats the special thing you are doing this Dashain to make it more special???

As pathetic as this may sound, I can't think of anything special I am doing for Dasain. Some people I know have been getting together regularly for cards and drinks but I guess I have been turning down invitations of late. I did go to one or two gatherings at a friends place but all the gambling started getting on to me and I decided this wasn't my cup of chiya.

I would have loved to be in Nepal now - I am sure I would have had a different story to tell. What about you Hush, what's special for you this Dashain?

my bro and sis went away to Texas for a two week vacation...and there'll be here tomorrow evening..so i am throwing a surprise party for them...beginning with homemade gulab jamuns...to biryani..like a thanksgiving treat..and call everyone in the vicinity too..

for myself..i'm kinda fed up of livingin US so..looking into gettin a PR in Aussiland...by next dashain..and oh i have to call mom and pops back home to check them out too...

its nice to feel at home around this time of year...

well, there were lots of invitations coming but we have rejected all of them. instead, we have a small gathering on 15th here in a small town where about 30 will attend the party.
Special item would be Khasiko masu, sel roti, other type of rotis, aaluko achar, rest of the item would be as usual. Instead of gambling, we will have small social dance party after the food. Of course jaad raksi will be there to spicy up the gathering. I hope it would be fun.
Missin families back home... I hope they would have lots of fun...

hush if u ask me...wats so special?....tho i might not make sense ;oP...well here is me dumb opinion anyways...hehe

its special cos i be MISSIN it!!and it feels so good missing it!!...cos well then i realise how special it is!!:oD...we dun miss anything at all if it wasnt speical hoina?(thats wat i like to think anyways..and dun tell me we do always seek and 'miss' things on the other side..duh!..i mean of cos i celebrated dashain with me family and frens before..so now i realise how speical those times were..:oD...so it feels good!!cos next time when i do get to celebrate it with me family and frens again...i know i be appreciating it a bit more than before :oD....)

dyam am nostalgic now :O...kinda thinkn those times..used to feel irritated with me parents and me uncle and aunties..putting the 'tika'(the rice ko) so wide...that it covers all me forehead!!felt pretty weird having a longer 'tika' than some of me frens..(if i saw me frens having a 'tika' longer one than me..i be chucklin inside me..but not lettn them know hehe..it was nice to see some other ppl with tikas covering their whole forehead and goin towards the sideburns wahhaahah)...but how was suppossed to know..that longer tika means more asirbaad..cos me parents and relatives put long ones cos they loved me!!!(i mean duh!!I knew ;oP...but didnt like them showin it that way ke ;oP...)and later i be thinkn dyam!!how do i cut down...make those tikas drop..without touchn with me hand..i mean...they put their blessing on those tikas with so much love hoina?so yap of cos i felt guilty thinkn the tika was so 'long'(dun mind me!!im pretty screwed in the head ke :oS hehe)....and wahahahaa..used to jump around when no one was lookn...to make those tikas fall!!

dyam the ingenious things and ways i used to think and come of :O....now im not sure if i did love carryn those babies..or was it cos i 'knew' deep inside the babies have roaming hands..and would of cos more likely touch me 'tika' and drop some!!..im evul i tell!!evul!!!!!arghhhhhhhh!!!;oP

ok enuf of blabberings...but missing smthing thats speicial to u...wat could be more special than that ;o)...well im jidde try to convince me there is smthing more speical thing to do..if u fail in convincing me...well dun say i didnt warn u re kya ;oP...and duh!!of cos being with the speicial 'things'(im sayn things cos sheesh u get wat i mean dun u?shud i explain!!!cant name them all..so sheesh ;oP) in ur life...esp durin dashain re kya ;o) of cos nothin can beat that ;o)...other than that...missing woohooo!!it feels good to miss :oD...

anyways stop!!!(telln meself ;oP)...im gonna be eatn some khasi today!!thanks to me frens!!bless them!!:oD....and gonna be meetn them after ages...so yap...woohooo!!!

what about surprising your frens with a little gifts..like shotglasses and a bottle of crown royale..and creating an online album of the best things that you'l be doing this dashain..or...redoing your apartment..like painting it apple green and calling some frens over for a beer and paint party along with khasi ko masu..
