In the survey for how visitors found out about sajha, there seems to have been some chronic voting ie. multiple votings by same person. I have modified the numbers to represent the actual votes. My special admiration to the visitor from Bloomberg University who spent enough time to vote 58 times! In any event, this has prompted me to change the way voting works. So now only one vote per login name. This would ensure that a person doesn't vote multiple times by deleting or inactivating cookies. It is good to know that more than 50% of the visitors found out about the site through words of mouth. I hope we can keep on spreading the good word.

And we blame the voters in Nepal for voting fraud? Where's this Bloomberg University anyway? Is it owned by the NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg?

After reading the above post, I am wondering how can u says its only one person who voted 58 times, can it be that there were more than one person involved. Moreover it was said that the person is from Bloomberg Uni. must be one of the computer labs, where more than one person SURELY does use it. Just wondering!!

The fact that it was one user was identified by the fact that all of those votes had the same IP address as well as the same cookie and it happened at a relatively short span of time. If it was one IP address and several different cookies then cool_dude's theory could have been correct. But all the votes coming from the same COOKIE points to the fact that they all came from one computer. It is not verylikely that 58 people used the same computer to vote for the same answer within a span of 15 minutes.

Ha ha :) Was the Sajha admin conducting a thorough investigation on this matter? I just felt like smiling because the few questions were raised quite some time ago but the admin has, for some reasons, chosen to answer it on this date. Euta karan ke huna sakcha bhane Uccha Chanbin Samiti Gathan garera tyasma tippani pesh bhayeko hunu parcha. :) Or also cuold be that the admin saw the comments relatively later, or cuold be...... Couldnt help making some smartass comments here :)
