Thinking to take parents on a religious trip for a week in India while visiting Nepal. I believe getting India visa in advance might be right way however looking into alternative & convenience way; can US Citizen use Nepali citizenship to fly Delhi from KTM.

Is there any difference in air & hotel fare for US citizen and Nepali Citizen? Has anyone done it before with Nepali citizenship and worth taking this route? Hope to get some idea/suggestion on this matter!

Yes you will get local/cheap rates. But you will also get treated like bahadur. With American passport you will get treated like royalty. So choice is yours my friend.
