I have an asus rt n900. Its little bit expensive but it worth all that money. If your living in a house then i would recommend you this. To be safe, you can buy the exact same model as comcast uses. But don't ever buy motorola SB modems. I had 3 modems that went dead within few months of each other. I was almost about to think that comcast was sending some kind of -kill modem signal to them. So I had to rent from them for some time as well. Linksys makes good modems. kbb, check the website that maxpayne has cited. most of them contains modems only but many of them from Netgear are modem and router combo. I used this recommended list to get the modem for me. I already had router when I got comcast internet. it's never boring to have both.
