File I-864 with I-130 and I-485?

 I-864 should be filed as an initial evidence to I-485. Failure to file form I-864 along with I-485 may prove you too costly. See here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/for...

Thanks JB. The reason I asked was I found a discussion thread in a forum that discussed why it was better to wait for an RFE for I864. But it took a while for me to realize it was for those applying to NVC and that I-130 triggers the request in such cases. Last edited: 13-Aug-13 11:53 PM
