 Dear EB3 applicants,
I have been monitoring the visa bulletin and realized that the processing of EB3 applications have progressed quite a bit. The PD for EB3ROW is already sept2008. My question is what is causing this to happen. I am pretty sure this is a good thing but however fear that this might stop and stall. what do you guys think?

Not really sure what is causing it to move so fast but I think EB3 will see a further expedition of dates. Some people say its happening because a lot of people are porting from eb3 to eb2 and also may be because there haven't been many applicants during the recession years.

The other thing to note here is that if the immigration bill passes, eb3 dates will move ahead very fast because the green cards for the dependents will not be counted from the eb3 pool. For example a man with a wife and 5 kids would take up 7 eb3 greencards, but if the immigration bill passes he'd only take up 1. Also they will increase the number of eb3 visas by 40 percent.

Thanks,
