भारतीय काँग्रेस पार्टीका नेता राहुल गान्धीले हालै विश्वकै दोस्रो अग्लो शिखर केटू हिमाल आरोहण गरी कीर्तिमानी राख्ने नेपालीहरुलाई बधाई दिएका छन् । उनले नेपाली आरोहीहरुले शिखरको चुचुरोमा पुग्दै गर्दा बजाइएको नेपाली राष्ट्रिय गानको भिडिय ट्वीटरमार्फत शेयर गर्दै बधाई दिएका हुन्। नेपाली १० जना आरोहीले हालै हिउँदको समयमा सफलतापूर्वक आरोहण गरी कीर्तिमानी राखेका थिए । हिँउदे सिजमा केटु हिमालको आरोहण गरेर १० जना नेपालीले विश्वकीर्तिमान बनाएसँगै उनीहरुको चौतर्फी प्रशंसा भइरहेको छ। उनीहरुले शिखरको चुचुरोमा पुग्दा नेपालको राष्ट्रिय गान बजाएका थियो ।

The Himalayas truly belong to Sherpas. I don't think that it would be far from reality to say that the Sherpas would have held the most record in climing the Himalayas if they had started expeditions before Europeans.
