Help Us Bring Chandra Thapa Home
Dear Friends and Community Members,
It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic news of Mr. Chandra Thapa's untimely passing. Chandra was a dedicated PhD student in Mathematics at Delaware State University, Dover and worked tirelessly as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. He also worked at Super 8 Motel to support himself and his family while pursuing his career dreams. Mr. Thapa received his MS degree from Bowling Green University, Ohio and another MS from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
Chandra's sudden death has left his family and the Delaware Nepali community and beyond devastated. His wife Pratichhya Shahi Thapa, his daughter and family, who reside in Butwal, Nepal, are heartbroken and wish to bring his body back home for a proper farewell and cremation.
