a long time ago i read that doctors in the states and wherehaveu reccomend ecstasy(mdma) to people suffering relationship breakdowns or as a tool to aid marriage counselling. apparently it helps people to be more emotionally aware.
my problem is, can it also work the other way??
my girlfriend and me regularly take it and under it we profess undying love and commitment, but lately we quarrel a lot, and somehow i can never ever feel the same elation and giddying thrill i had for her initially.the chemically induced highs that we had are like a benchmark, and without it i know she almost feels she's out of love, i know because i feel the same.
i do not want to carry on taking it because i know it fu.ks up the brain, but i want to know if it is really the drug that f.cked things up.
it's almost like the drug s..ucked out all the emotions out of us.
anyone on a similar trip??

Dude, get out of it. I know you can because MDMA is not addictive. Just realize that what you feel during high is not quiet real and that feeling doesn't last for ever. Although, you realize a lot of things about your life and loved ones, MDMA is simply not the way to treat your personal problems. People do it for recreational purpose, especially at Raves and such, but don't ever do it to solve the problems, otherwise you will get deep into Depression. If you feel like you want to do it again and again, seek professional help, its readily available.

it's like the relationship is not working bcoz we both want to feel something that is just not possible without it. people do weird shit when the're on it, all i felt like was evrerlasting love 4 her, i could almost taste the love for her. but after it wore off, it's almost like we dirtied the purity of the relatinship. and i feel different now as i carry on in the day to day bits. and what scares me is the fact that she is probably going thru the same shit.

All i can say is that sort it out when you're not rolling. its a love pill, so you feel loved to just about anybody, but really it is FAKE and not ever lasting, while taking a huge toll on you- brain damage. Is it worth it?

I have a similar problem, somehow I am becoming addicted to this Sajha forum. I am active in couple different forum, but this is the only Nepali Forum I am into and seems like can't get out of it.
