Dear friends,
I am in big trouble as i am graduating from university this fall and yet could not find a job. What are the ways to secure my F-1 status? I am a biology major and i don't know where to look for volunteer jobs. I am planning to go back to community college for next summer. do you guys think i can secure my status by going to community college? if yes then how many credits do i have to take during summer? Thank you for you suggestions.

If you are undergrad then going to Grad School would be better for you career and future. If not, apply for OPT and find volunteer job, even within your department will work. Talk to your academic adviser and international office about your situation.


To maintain your status:
1. You can go to graduate school.
2. You can join Kaplan GRE course.
3. You can join community college.



PS: In summer, you are not required to take any course.  That means you
do not need to take any course to be in status during summer.What is your option??

I will graduate on December, so if i do not intend to take any classes or get admission to anywhere with my opt starting from january 2010 until Fall 2010 do you guys think that will be alright?
