We are hearing a lot of issues about the forth coming convention of ANA that will be held in Dallas in July 2012. We heard the organizing team has just registered another ANA and also got the domain http://anatexas.org/ recently. Does anyone know if ANA is even allowed to hold the comvention when it is facing legal challenges..??

I heard all legal charges are droped and they are united. Not sure, its a new one or old one. As for as I know, new domain is normal in the past as well. I know when there is ana in New york, it had seperate domain. I also heard that old ANA is registered in Maryland and the new one with new folks are organizing in Dallas. I even heard that another group breakup of ANA also organizing program in DC called Nepalese Summer Fest ( The same group who organized metho bhetghat in ANA - DC. This is nepali style as we experience like in Nepal. I keep our tradition alive... no matter where we go (:) I hope some one will light on the issue.

This is called evolution; only the strong and the better survive. Let there be as many things people want to organize this will give Nepalease to choose and decide where they want to go. Eventually the low profiting ones will fade away. I will personally try and attend both the summerfest and ana dallas. I want to see how my frens at DC and frens at dallas bring it on. Kudos to both of you!!
