Nothing will happen but the thing is, it will remain in your record now. Recently, i met a guy from Texas he told me he was arrested for three days for selling liquor to a minor and finally was bailed by the owner of his store. So be thankful that you were not arrested right there.

mama says I will have to turn myself in later. it would be quick in/out thing - they will contact me. judge will decide the fine and might have to retake the class and watch a video then they will erase the record.
i was planning to renew my visa and now I cannot cause if they check my back ground then i will be in serious trouble.

There is nothing called renewing a visa in US for f1 student. You just have to maintain your visa status. Even if your stampped visa in passport expires, if you are in F1 status and your school/university maintain the current SEVIS record you should be fine.
