I don't know about other developed country but in USA there are lots of non profit orgs run by Nepalese residing in US weather they are  big or small. these organizations are collecting huge amount of money via donations and they are making a huge differences for many lives in Nepal with the kind of social work they are doing and it is great . but i was wondering if there are any political organizations in the US that are actively participating in on going politics in Nepal. I feel that we are in need of such organizations operating with the money generated via donations. with the kind of monkey business that is going in Nepal, i am sure lots of people would give some change as a donations. i know i would and i think this is one great way to involve directly in Nepal politics. in US, many political org like credo and moveon.org are actively involved in politics with the help of donations and they are making a huge difference. they are making people aware of things that are happening in the political arena and they are encouraging or educating people to do right thing. i feel that we need such organizations in Nepal that would directly or indirectly involve in politics.

I know people won't work for free but with money involved, lots of things can be done in politics too.
i was thinking may be, we can collect money to advertise politically charged message on TV, radio or any media to educate all citizens in Nepal and to warn all politicians. and i believe it can make a huge difference.
with more money involve, there are lots of other things that can be done
 like educating people and
help make them right decision.
directly lobby with politicians.
organize peaceful rally.

and i am sure there are many more.

so what do you guys think.

dude, as much people living in developed countries are educated or not, have made tonnes of money or not, often visit sajha or other websites or not, write blog, show frustration by ranting on the internet, contribute on discussion forum or not, they are pretty much useless eventhough they wanted to participate. unless you are on the street chanting slogans, you ain't doing shit. unless you are talking to your elected representatives and showing frustration over lack of movement in the politics or giving death threats, you ain't doing shit.

i am talking about doing all of these things with your donated money while you sitting  on your nice couch and sipping your single malt whiskey. you see what i am talking about.

Dolphin, your attitude is a refreshing change from the people I meet in the Nepali diaspora in the United States--the B.A.B.A.L Kha-tes (Bagmati Anchal Born America Living Kha-tes). Kha-tes meaning street children living away from their home Nepal.

So if I live in US of A and express my deepest concern regarding the current dire situation of Nepal, may that be political or social, I'll be judged as B.A.B.A.L khates. and you took no time to judge me. so what do you suggest i do to clear just label from my forehead, tell me. you seems like you have seen lots of things in your life.
