i'm trying to fly to Nepal taking a semester break this fall. meanwhile i was supposed to be transferred to a new university with some scholarship. Now i'm taking break from the old school and told the new one to deffer my scholarship for spring. Has anyone tried differing their scholarship successfully ?

Send an e-mail to your new university and ask them how likely it is that you might be able to defer your scholarship. What kind of scholarship are talking about here? At my university, you can't defer academic scholarships.
