Sometime ago, Nepe had put forth some details about Roger Adhikari's candidacy for a council seat in the city of Tracy in California, USA. At the time, I wished Mr. Adhikari well. But now that results have come in, it's clear that he needed a lot more than just good wishes. That's fine. In life, you win some, and you lose some, that's the way it goes in everything. BUT Since we don't have overseas Nepalis running for public offices everyday, it'd be great if Roger shared with us all what he learnt from his experience.. सर्व प्रथम रोगर जि लाई मेरो तर्फ बाट पनि दुई थोपा आन्सु टक्राउन्दछु! It might be his his first good attempt. However, winning in a election depends on voters characteristics, candidate's affiliation with major political parties, leadership qualities in the person itself, ability to voice community concerns, and what not! US voters are very rational as evident from the recent election results for US senate and house. Wish him good luck next time!

Hey Bhunte,. For a foodie like me.........so yummy picz out there.GREAT .sooo delicious pics..It kills!.And all my personal favorites. Yomari(with khuwa) and hot spicy samosas...colorless thin Jalebiessss and lots of Nepali , Newari foood....yum yum..I'm loving it.I thought of finishing the book but now I have to get sth good for myself to eat.....Damn uuuuuuuuuuu

क्लेओपात्रा, कस्तो छ योमरि, समुसा, नाशता, र दाल् भात् हरु? नुन लाएको छ कि छैन? अलि केही थपम है? नलजाइ खाना थप्नुस् है । हे हे... Thank you for liking the foods. Me too foodie, and make nepali recepies whenever i have time. Ahh, Yomari! Missing that too much specially during winter time. Used to help in kitchen in making Yomari to other family members in coning-ballooning and filling with sesame mixed honey, and capping Yomari. A newari song we used to sing about Yomari: योमरी पुनी ऊखे दुन्ने हामु ब्युसा ल्यास्से मब्युसा ugly ........ Hopefully, we will have Nepali cuisine one of the day in future! P.S. Those who understand the meaning of that song is OK, otherwise let me know or someone can help....
