Hey everybody, I am doing a little research on nepali folk tales, I am trying to find a story that is popular amongst all generations that may have a social, political aspects to it. If anyone remembers a story or knows a good book let me know. I have heard many stories as a child but i cannot remember them. maybe reading a few will jog my memory. so please help if you can.

Maoists stories are good ones... teaches great lessons. Prachanda's belly, Baburam's paining spinal chord.... looks like Baburam gonna become invalid handicapped with this deteriorating spinal chord.

Have you heard of "Nepali Dantya Katha" by Bodh Bikram Sharma. Some of the story are like Sunkeshra maiya ko katha ... story of a blonde Rajkumar dikpal Shishir ra basanta ko katha. Chhatu shyal ko katha etc..etc... I have a book of it here on USA
