Hindu Gods and Pantheons:

I have already mentioned how the Hindu writers have depicted our non-Aryan as Raksas or demons in their epics. In Ramayan king Dshrath had three wives with no children from any one of them. So they performed the fire-worshiping (Hom) ritual, and after eating sweet-rice (Khir) Ram and his brother were born. How can women conceive a baby after eating sweet-rice? Some Hindu sages were born from deer, some from claypot some from rabbit, some from grass( Kush), some from termites hill and some from slaves.

Don't take everything literally.!!!!

1. Hindu "writers" have depicted non-aryans as raksas how so? you are totally misguided. Ravan was a Demon his father was not. Hiranyakasyap was a demon his son Prahlad was not. Kansa was a davav his nephew Krishna was supreme lord himself. man study before you say something. BTW did you know that Shivaji's "Gan" is bhoot, pisach and danavs. Even "Birbhadra" is Shivaji's destructive manifest.

2. As far as conceiving a baby by eating sweet rice goes, it has figurative implications. it is trying to say that through tap jap yagya and hom ( ie penance, rituals and harwork) anything can be achieved even supreme being like Ram can be gotten as a son. Trust me Dashrath properly made love to his wives after eating that khir. It is just a "medicine" which helps conceiving.

3. As far as sages and Rishis being born from rabbit, kush and what not goes there is a deep though subtle implication of Evolution. We are what we are because of our consciousness. the higher the consciousness and better the self-realization we become higher beings. A dog is a dog, a tree is a tree but they do not know that they are because their level of consciousness is much lower than us. we know we are humans, don't we? why because we are in a higher plane of consciousness.

so it is possible for a lower being to become a higher being if right path is followed. however this will take birth after birth to reach that goal. When humans advance in conciousness they will ultimately realize that they are no different than the supreme Divinity that is when a person is free from all Worldly attachments in other words attains Nirvana or MOKSHYA.

Some quarters of intelligentia has been suggesting that Ramayana is Balmiki's depiction of an epic battle between two races - Aryans and Dravidians.

We all know that Dravidians were the original residents of Bharat Barsha and the Aryans were the invadors from northwest. Ramayana, some say, is an episode of this historic struggle.

Of course, one who wins is the one who writes history and creates myths. Therefore, Rama, an Arya-putra, became the god and Rawana, a Dravidian King of Sri Lanka, became the Danava.

Just my two cents, you can disagree but don't attack me and label me as hindu-hater, please!
