There is a lot of discussion going on about Sitaram Yechury in the media. Atleast Indian Media is full of it, They have even mentioned that the SPA has proposed him to become mediator between the King and the Maoist.

I was interested in the topic. I did a lil bit of research about who this guy is. He is Currently a member of the Polit Bureau, Head of the International Department and Editor of the CPI(M) Central Weekly, Peoples' Democracy.

Here is the interview I could find about his interview

Does any one else has heard about it?

Here is article he has written CPI (MAOIST) VIOLENCE: Revolutionary or Anarchist

I have sense he is key to the support of India to the Maoists. He has said he is ready to mediate between the King and the Maoist but he will wait till the outcome of the visit of KARAN SINGH.Looks like an emerging key figure in the dynamics of Nepali Politics. What do you think?
