Really good presentations m'te..

We should be compassionate.

We should be generous.

We should be sensitive.

We should appreciate what we have.

And we should help those who are less fortunate than us.

BUT

We should NOT feel guilty for providing for our children, their happiness, their well being, their education.

We should not think any less of us for pampering our kids, just because there are thousands of children starving, dying, not getting proper education in Africa.

I know what you mean and we do not even have to look beyond our own country to see the needy and the poor and the guilt of not being thankful haunts you but then sometimes i feel why should i always think of others and be grateful.

I am grateful to God for everything you know but then living here is so difficult as well especially as a student. Not having your own car, not being able to eat at your fav restaurants, being lonely and dependent sucks like nothing else.
