The debut (Nepali-language) novel of Narayan Wagle, the editor of Kantipur daily and one of Nepal's finest -- if presently beleaguered -- journalists/writers, is being published in Kathmandu later this month of Baisakh. Since Narayan is a good friend (and even though I have yet to read this book ), let me -- in the usual Sajha.com tradition of celebrating succcess of fellow-Nepalis -- go ahead and give a plug to his book: Buy it, read it, and share your comments about it. Here's wishing Narayan all the best. Ramro hos Bhalo hos. oohi ashu

best of luck Narayan Dai. I will buy it, I will read it and I will comment on it as Ashuji says. His work must be a great one. Enjoyed his 'kafi guff' as much as any good pieces I have read so far.

(Indiviदual in multitude versus individual in solitude).

When the heading of this thread clearly says" Narayan Wagle" and NOT some other Wagle, some people insist on thinking that all news about Wagles only be all about Chiran Jibi Wagle. Oh well. BTW, as a matter of trivia, a gentleman named Ram Chandra Wagle who runs Bhadrakali Trade Concern, an agro-supplies shop in Bhadrakali in Kathmandu, sells a meticulously prepared genealogy-chart of the Wagles of Tanahu and Gorkha (and NOT of Karnataka in India). Other than that, it's always worth promoting friends. True, some of them might end up stabbing you in the back when they are done with getting what they want out of you. But that's life.. Still, you wish them well, and march ahead to have MORE friends and continue helping them in all ways possible. oohi ashu
