I live in California and my passport(Nepal) expiring soon. Do I have to go to Washington DC to renew it?

Rajesh 14, I'm in LA having same situation. I'm trying to make an online appointment but its difficult to get one. Good luck !

Check with Nepali consulate. Sometimes visit yiur local city ur surrounding ones. They were in Denver few months ago.

Yes you have to go to DC. I went there just this month. First set up the appointment date through online process. If the date is unavailable, keep checking the website almost everyday until you find it.
