Hello all,
I just got notified from USCIS for OPT STEM extension approval. However my driver's license in Texas is due renewal next week. It might be a while before I get my new EAD. Is there anyway I could renew it before I get my EAD ?

The approval notice should work. When I did it last year, they issued a system check and it took a week for the DMV folks to approve my request for license renewal. I dont know how it works in Texas, but I assume it would be similar. Visit them and let them know.
