One of my friend is about to graduate from one of the community college in Houston Area and looks like he is interested in joining either Lamar in Beaumont or Stephan F Austin in Nacogdoches. In Both schools he is eligible for in-state tuition. Are there any Nepalese community out there in Beaumont and Nacogdoches area?

I would say Beaumont, because it is close to Houston, where your friend can find plenty of Nepalis. I do not know much about the other place, so can't comment on that.

Also it's weird that your 'friend' made you do this research instead of doing it himself. I am not sure if other Nepalis will be as nice as you, and hold his hands like this. Good luck to him!

Beamount is a ghetto area so I would not recommend as majority of Nepalese people live in houston area. Nacogdoches is a better place to live and study but I am not sure about the job opportunities available for your friend since the city is small. Since your friend is graduated from the HCC, why should not he try University of Houston at Downtown or Clearlake? These schools are one of best among other schools in the whole nation.
