Officials said the exemption would apply to about 300,000 people who currently live in the U.S. under the program and have been here since 2011. That means people from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Haiti — countries that saw the status revoked since Trump took office — would get a reprieve. Is Nepal even included in this already rejected deal ?

Actually Nepal and Sudan is not included. In the 1300 pages spending bill submitted by republicans on Monday, it only protects 6 countries excluding Nepal and Sudan. Last edited: 22-Jan-19 01:59 PM

NOT for NEPAL. Those countries who have requested to extend will be included but not Nepal who's government and Embassy have done nothing to help their fellow citizens in the US.

If this Shut down goes further, federal court will also shut down. Adhikar might not have time to file lawsuit.
