 why would you call "Baba" to Husband ?

I find the word "Baba" is being used very incorrectly when some ladies call "Baba" to their Husbands. I have even heard few calling "Buwa" ... really ? Where are we heading ?

same thing they call their hubby "daddy" here duh. but in nepal it is limited to only few ethnic group why wonder ? daddy complex? lets call men who provide here "sugar dady" as in nepali "chinibaba" and indian would interpret it as "chinababa" lol lol . .

Haha what a topic...this has been bothering me a lot as well..calling BABA..BABA..very irritating..... why not just call by name or short name...
