I am trying to get a ticket from ethihad airways and i see the layover in abu dabi is 18 hours and 55 min. I know Ethihad is a great airline and was wondering if they would provide me hotel during the long transit and if they do how will I claim? I am getting ticket via kayak and not from travel agent so do I have to call customer service?

If anyone has experience from past and would share it to me, I would be really appreciated.

Ethihad is not a great airline company.

I heard if there is transit more then 12 hour, airlines need to give you hotel. Call them and ask them.

Thank you everyone , I am flying from IAD washington but most of the tickets are either more flight or long layover. I just talked with them and they told me that wouldnt provide any hotels since its not a connecting flight.
