Im insisting my dad n mom to migrate to usa. They have been having the visa for almost a decade. They have been renewing it And have only visited 3 times. I want them to move here for good because i wanna take care of them. Which would be the best state for us to move to? I want them to be able to travel on their own through public transport (easily accesible) , nepali neighborhood, a place with diversity..??
They dont want to migrate but im insisting. We have better doctors and healthcare.
Suggestions concerns comments higly appreciated
P.s they are on their late 50s.

Best for them not to immigrate if they do my want to. Otherwise any big cities will have good Nepalese population etc like New York.

Bring 'em up here & your 'mala-maal'. File taxes with them being your 'dependents' & get a big fat check on your return. How cool is that? & a big burden on Tax-Payers!

Main question will be healthcare, keep that in mind. This is the main reason I suggest elderly over 50, not to migrate. I don't think they will get Medicare in straight forward way, if they haven't work certain number of years in US. I have seen people taking care of their parents. But not sure how they are covering healthcare. Buying private Medicare is dam expensive.

Casino: Looks like you are a trax professional.
How much is he going to save from tax ? DAD and MOM two extra exemption. Lets say he is in 25% tax bracket that will be 3300X2X.025= 165.
Let me give you some tips if you want to make money too. Have two or more children, if making less than 40K, file seperately & split children.
Enjoy : Head of household status.
Enjpy : Earned Income credit upto 4700 dollars.
Enjoy : Additional earnd income credit.
Enjpy : Child tax credit.
Enjpy: Dependent care expence : higher rate ( 40% of 3000).

If you shared your personal background (line of profession, future plans, weather preference et al), you'll probably get helpful responses. Your question is too vague.
