Oh Bolta,
The above statement shows exactly how much u know. Anyways, so i don't know music but i know what is good and what is bad. Your music sucks... and so your vocals.. so get a good vocalist and some good tunes.. till then stop trying to steal money from nepalese using your guitar's and mic's which ya'll don't know how to use properly. For your information regarding technical problem we have a proverb for it "Nachna Najanne aagan tedo" and music is a universal language so i don't have to understand it.. i just want something better for my ears... and your music is not doing so. And if u can't take anything negative about your music then you should not be in a music business...cause even the best is always getting some negetive feedbacks. So, bolta.. your music not chlta...ain't that a sign..that your music is dying....u ain't goin' to the top.. unless u listen to ya own music first...so cut that crap..cause people will be sayin oh poor lil bolta chap!! peace out!!

If string band is trying its best to bring us together for one night, and entertain us through their music, shoulden't we be supporting them? Why? Duhh!!!!!!! coz we are all from the same place and we speak the same language dude. Anyway, it's not just about the music its also about the interaction with people.
However, lets' hear them from start to finish, and see for ourself if they rock or not. They deserve that.
Keep up the good work guys. Yeah!!!!!
Ahhelai lai yati nai.

Mirinda is absolutel right. Even the best gets criticized by someone or the other. You take good with the bad (reviews I meant). So be it. So, Mirinda will go someplace else to have fun. But whoever comes to the party are the ones you are going to entertain and make them the reviewers of your performance. Hopefully they'll leave the night assured how wrong Mirinda was.

Anyway, I hear you are practicising your butts off. And hey, you can only do so much. You can only give your best. Do that and you'll be fine.

Hope you'll rock the night. Hope I'll have fun along with hundreds others that will be there to hear your music and dance to the tunes of DJ Jam's great collection.

New York always have some some fun place to go to. As they say, "if it ain't New York, it's nowhere else".

So for us Nepali people, on August 14th, 2004, it is the Kasturi Club in Queens - the place to be. Let's have fun, all together! Go Strings, Go DJ Jam, Go NY Nepalis.

For someone who spells amateurs as 'ametures', Miranda has made a grand mockery of himself by trying to correct a certain Mr. Bolta's retaliatory post. This attitude of the 'cold-drink guy' (that looks and tastes as horrible), exemplifies the 'ignorance is bliss' mentality that I, for certain have seen only immature kids portray. Such nincompoops really need to get about doing some research before they end up shooting themselves on the foot.

So, Mr. Appalling Cold Drink lets bring forth the discussion to the table. I too saw the Strings concert last summer and what I saw was phenomenal! I have been to ANA, ANMA, Tibetan conventions and Nepali parties all over the US and never have I seen or heard anything (besides 1974 and the league of other Nepali professional bands) that have measured up to them. Which other Nepali bands are you familiar with in the US, wise guy? Letýs compare and contrast what you've heard from others to what I have seen for myself. Let the members and the silent majority that frequent this site see how your fiction compares to my reality.

On a personal note, the members of Strings have been friends of mine for a while now. Not allowing any form of preferential biasness that would allow any margin of error to my judgment, I written below what Iýve seen: For the past few weeks, they have been ýbustiný their asses trying to get this concert together.ý Their goal: ýTo bring about nostalgic memories for all those who attended rock concerts in Kathmandu/Delhi campuses in the 90ýs.ý Having been out of Ktm for nearly a decade now, all I have of those ýconcertý days are fond memories. And for Strings wanting to recreate such an atmosphere again, they would undoubtedly receive my staunch undivided support!

ýýýýýýAugust 14th; Kasturi Club, Astoria, NY

........................Party On!

I totally agree with sutra about Strings. They rock!!! coz I have seen them playing, so I didnt' just make that up. I also agree that, the upcoming concert, is a chance for us to re live those good memories we had back home. What can be more interesting then standing in a hall full of people, and submerging ourshelves into the music we love, while we sip our drinks and enjoy the show.
I will definately be there.
By the way, before we criticicize other people, I think it is good to know the facts, otherwise people will think how thick/unintelligent we are.

Oh! spelling mistake shows my proficiency in English... WOW!! Sutra, u know a lot eh!! I know the spelling of amateurs but that doesn't mean when I make a typing mistake it resembles how well I write or know English. Yeah u said something right though " Ignorance is bliss" cause u havenýt been to kathmandu for decade and u have no idea how mush Nepalese bands have progressed throughout these years. So, no matter what u have attended.. ANA, ANMA,.. Yadi yadi ya those bands they play are all ýhobby basedý participants. If you compare them then forget it, I have nothing to say. Perhaps, u know better what Iým trying to say. And let me remind u of a Nepalese proverb ý Dudh ko sachi biraloý Since you are a personal friend of Strings band u are so unbiased. Read between your lines bud, youýll see how ýNOTý biased you are. And as one of the username says, ý reality sucksý thatýs true cause it does. Thatýs why we have so many people like you trying to say how good they are while they suck big time. Anyways, I donýt careý let the band speak for themselves through their music. Last performance was horrible. I heard it from all the people who were there spending their money and not from some ýpersonal friendý who got a free ticket. So, pray for your band cause they need more than a simple luck to perform better. By the way i forgot to tell you, just putting some vast words doesn't mean you are writing better... use the right word at the right time... just a suggestion. Peace out..

After all this spelling or grammer whatever error discussion why don't we just get to the point. No matter what!!! Strings are gonna be playing on August 14th so I ask ya all to hit the club. Mirandaaaaa as for your proverb ' Dud ko sachi biralo' I assure you that strings will put full stop to it coz they're gonna make 'Dud ko dud pani ko pani'
Why no witness it ourselves?

I just gotta say let's respect the talents in our Nepali Daju Bhai whether they are ameture or pro. Atleast they have something in them. Its great that we have a band in New York despite the city's busy schedule.
I'm........coming on so u gotta get the party started...igonore anything else.

Jhusle Kira ji,
Jaaner pani kina Anjaan baneko.
The one you posted above is Indian Band and the one playing on August 14, Kasturi Club is our New York Nepali Band. Unfortunately 2 bands collided with the same name.
But we wouldn't be discussing so much if it was an Indian band, would u?
