Nepal Tourism Year 2011. But, one and only Hindu Kingdom?

This is an amazing video I have found few days back. I have posted this one on my facebook...and got very good response from some of my foreign friends. I suggest that posting this on facebook can be very easy and effective way of sharing. Let's work together to make Visit Nepal 2011 a grand success.

No offence . I would not promote Nepal tourism 2011.  I don't want to be part of the blame when somebody goes to nepal and comes out disappointed.

Last september in 2009 i was in a conference in a place called loughborough. I had time to talk to one of the German professor. He talked about nepal. He said he was in Nepal last may. But according to him  in every place  the chinese people ( maoist) asked for donation and caused nuisance. He was really disappointed with that. Add to that constant bandas ruined his trip.  It was one of the most embarassing thing i faced.

no_quiero ..i agree with you if you are talking of past incidents. ..but ..have you heard recent news that all parties did pratibadhata not to do bandas or hadtal in year 2011 to promote tourism.......what if this visit Nepal 2011 may Avoid Nepal from doing bandas and hadtal completely..we need stairs to climb broo ...so lets do what we can do for nepal right now broo ....

ino_quiero, I agree with you. but we are not promoting Maoists party here. we are promoting Nepal....isolate Nepal from all polilitical  parties and see it as a pure country of yours. I have got 1,2 people who complain about problems in Nepal but I have more than 50 people who are so intereted to share their wonderful experiece in nepal. And it is very easy to compplain about something and get rid of that. But your true effort lies on your interest to make something right....which is already right but needs some tuning.

Get over with Hindu Kingdom... whoever added that hindu kingdom part...   needs re-education and can be charged by Nepal Government for presenting falsified information to represent Nepal in the  international level.

This video was made for Visit Nepal 2008. So it is outdated but Tourism Board who are advertising it for 2011 forgot to edit that Hindu Kingdom part, may be they didn't get funding to promote or Sujata used the money for her trip so no money left for editing :)
Video is beautiful and it has still pictures also in the DVD or CD whatever.
I do have one and used it as a presentation slide in our International dinner but was a bit awkward for the misinformation about Hindu Kingdom as all of the audience were highly learned people.

@gauleyketo: No, Nepal is not a Hindu Kingdom anymore. You know we no longer have king so goes the word Kingdom, further after Maoist joined the democratic force, first thing they did was changing the country from Hindu country to Secular country. So, no more a Hindu Kingdom.

If someone comes with it ..yes, better they , coz buddha was born in nepal , and Mt everest lies in Nepal .  but fasly google has mentioned " Buddha was born in Utter Pardesh " ..we will need that answer first ...and How may time india had claimed " Mt everest is in nepal " what about that false statement ...f%%k it... ..Just Love Nepal what it is ...don't bring any nonsense statement . There are lot of other question to be answers first !

There are primary literatures if someone really want to dig into the details or the credible of sources...ppl with HEAD will not rely on google and wikepedia for critical issues. Do NOT forget that your HEAD is intact (not splited.. haha..). Please USE it. Thank you... !!!

We live in a society defined by Law (supposedly)...  I understand .. situation is very volatile back home.. almost anarchy... but we try to abide the LAW as a common citizen....

Namaskar Broda!!!  I had run into the similar situations in the past and completely understand ur situation when it comes to presenting misleading information (old info ) to well informed audience. sometimes its hard to keep up with current changes taking place back home coz most of
them are ridiculous. they are changing things for no reason.  Even
nepali flag was about to be changed.. I wish they could change their corrupted mentality first before those petty changes.

Now it makes sense when you said this Video is an old version...
