Stability, democracy, and economic success; an eutopia for any country. But will all of the three criterias necessarily result into the equal rights of 'all' of the citizens of a country?

ms dude, I think stability, democracy and economic stability all are integral components for development and prosperity, however when we say "equal rights", it is asking for more committment from system and the civil society. In my view, following points are necessary 1) Social Inclusion: Inclusion of all race, cast and creed in all forms of social practices, beureocracy and politics of the country. " Democracy" alone does not guarantee that, there should be social awareness, respect and feeling of togetherness among people. 2) Attitude and work ethics: Something we nepalese have to work hard to see it being practiced in our secluded society. 3) Love and kinship for each other: Sometthing that should come from inside. 3)

Ms. Ratopul, Your chosen topic can go for infinite length. At the risk of sounding abstract and bootless; let me be as succulent as possible while I briefly elaborate on my words. What I was trying to say was, stability, democracy and economic success indeed are essential for any nation to progress and develop an ideal society, such that each and every individual would have equal rights. However, those three criterias, as vital as they are, would not pledge equivalent rights for all the citizens. Social awareness, if I can put my buck on, is more vital and should supersede those three. In fact it precedes stability, democracy and economic success in terms of priority. Case in point: NEPAL. We had a decent chance of stability, a shot at democracy that promised much economic success. What let us down was lack of social awareness - awareness of our responsibility to the society and nation at large. We got the castle without the base. It had to come crashing down. Alas! [By the way, methinks, equal rights itself is a relative term. Hopefully, with education, people develop on social level; as a person and a human being. But that too does not guarantee equal rights. As we can see in the context of Nepal, the educated so-called upper caste STILL prevents assumed lower caste and under privileged people to enter the "sacred" place.] Khai ke bhanne aba? The crux I want to hit home is having an equal right on paper and de-facto equal rights are two different things. It is easier to achieve the former and that much more difficult to realize the latter. When it all boils down to, the primary ingredient for equal rights is social awareness. You can put all the masalas in the curry, but if you miss the salt, what's the point? If we, the humans, would be satisfied by being what we are, a human being; equality is guaranteed. The problem arises when we become otherwise. Lau alik daya baya gayo jasto cha. Anyways, hope this helps. Astu! IndisGuise:) P.S: Lonely bro, first thing "last" ;) Please apologize to Ms. Raotpul. She was born a female and has not metamorphosed in to male (Please correct me if I am wrong Miss):)

can someone help me find the "anything goes" thread?? I have tons of complaints to make there... I know I'm going off the topic, but since the thread talked about "equal rights" I thought you people would allow me my right to ask a question... Thanks...

You have already used your right, thus "allowing" or not, is out of the window. Thanks for being courteous though. :) But I'm afraid I have not seen any thread named "anything goes." Shall I create one thread called "Complains" for thee? :) Saves time, and energy ;) IndisGuise:)

"and what did you do about it? You hurt her too!!!! " Nooooo, I wouldn't even hurt a fly, let alone a heartless species. I, innocently asked her,"Who "boldina" sweetie? There is only you and me in this room.":( And I was serious!:p And the suddenly the room lit up with her 1000 watts of smile and surrendered in to my arms. Akin to Naomi watts to King Kong (herya ta chain tyai pani) :p Shall I expect the dejavu? ;) Timi marne kura garchau, ma bachne kura garchu. Farak yetti ho, timi bina bachnu pani ...(fill in the blanks) :( MOkshyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ((((((((((((((Mokshyaa...Mokshyaa...Mokshyaa...Mokshyaa)))))))))))))))))))))) (Echo kya ;)) :( IndisGuise:)

LOL. When a female smiles and says some sweet ringing words, I kind of get cramps in my heart. Not because I'm excited, but because I'm scared. But remember, we are pals. :) So, if lot more is good, I expect a lot more, and if a lot more is "not good" I expect a lot less. Hai? ;) You know the most amazing thing about females? They can be mad and yet look so mesmerizing. How do you guys do that? Tell me please and give me "mokshya" :p IndisGuise:)

You don't deserve "Mokshya" because you hurt that girl... I may reconsider your wish for 'Mokshyaa' if you go and apologise to her... I bet she's waiting :)

Ditto! :( Where did I not look to apologise, but alas, by the time I reached the station, the wagon had officially taken off for "Jhumritalaiya." :p And I sat right there, on the hill stattion, calling - MOkshyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ((((((((((((((Mokshyaa...Mokshyaa...Mokshyaa...Mokshyaa)))))))))))))))))))))) Last I heard, even the Jumritalai no longer existed ;). But I am determined to get my mokshya, ops mokshyaa hehe.. so here I come and I want it hard way, thus am walking all the way. How long it shall take? A week, two or three? That is, if I am alive. Kadam pe kadam badaye jaa badayeee jaaa badayee jaaaaaaaaaaa... Ready? IndisGuise marches along... :)
