In most of Reddit AMAs, the person's identity is verified. How do we know if it's you for real? Can SAN verify this?

My question would be: Did you really see Nepali homeless in the streets?

Hi Rekha ji. Namaste! I'm a huge fan of yours. This is very kind of you to take some time off your busy schedule to address the questions of your fans. I have a couple questions for now. 

Is it true you declined an offer for Julia Robert's character in "Pretty woman"? Do you regret it?

Kiddo, I did see Nepali homeless people in the streets. However, my defnition of homeless might be different from yours. Nepal is our home. There is no other home. Period. (appreciate the redundancy!). As they say "home is where the heart is", I saw people in the US who lived in houses, not homes. They longed for Nepal, they longed for their homes. Hence, they were homeless.

I would like to edit my answer a little bit now though. There is a new Nepali website which has all the movies you always wanted to watch. If you are in the US, visit that website, and you will feel at home. I am not the creator of the website, but I love it to death. (totally kidding, that was my attempt at satire).

Garry Marshall and I did talk about Pretty Woman. I think it was the summer of 89 when we sat down in his villa in Palm Springs and discussed the movie. It didn't happen for two reasons. First, I had some creative differences with Richard Gere at that time (same reason why I rejected to act in Unfaithful). Second, Garry Marshall was looking for someone who was pretty but also had a hint of promiscuity. I fit the pretty category (duh!) , but I guess at that age, and stil today, promiscuity is something I have failed to attain. Julia did a great job though!

On that note, in my upcoming Bhojpuri flick "Saajan Bihar me, Kaisan howe Shaadi Tihar me" , I play an escort. The storyline of this movie is very similar to Pretty Woman as well. I hope you watch it.

I have analysed ashish-me's activities pretty closely for a couple weeks. He is the Media and Public Relations Officer of CPN-Maoists and it is his responsibility to ensure that our party has a good reputation in sajha, and in Nepal in general. However, in the recent days, it has come to our attention that all he does is make nonsensical arguments and defend every question by calling others "pakhey". We have taken this seriously and I will talk to my party leaders about his termination. Thank you.
