A friend of mine got a job 9 weeks into his OPT and then got laid off after a while. Its been about 3 weeks and now we only have about a week to get a new job or a volunteer gig. I was wondering if you need to send documentation regarding volunteer work to your school's DSO or just a simple email stating your volunteer work would suffice.
