Man, I can't believe it. I don't care any more about Nepal's future... I doubt if there is any remaining . But, with the news of his resignation, I just feel as if ( मेरो चाक को पिलो फुट्यो।) abscess in my ass has drained out.

From the beginning of the seven parties and Maoist agreement, I used to feel that it was a historical mistake for the country.  Girija , the octogenerian vulture did all this,  making the world believe that Maoists want to come back in the mainstream poltics. His overambition made him believe that   by fulfilling their demand on abolishing monarchy, he will end the civil war as well as  establish himself  as the founding father of New Nepal.  What a pity mentality....... I wish I had buried him alive in Tukucha.

Now, I'm waiting to see how the Maoist will crumble down another instrumental player in their upsurging. Kantipur helped to promote Maoism in Nepal directly or indirectly. If somebody has doubt on it, I challenge him to look and compare the tone, attitude and coverage of the Maoist related news in those two newspapers from the same publishing house over the last decade.  I guess,  their motives was to create more chaos in the country so that they will have more turnover ( because people tend to look newspaper when there is chaos and uncertainty ).  I'm also waiting to see the  fate of  so called civilian society ( I don't mean the public. There has been a group of thugs in Nepal who claim to be the representative of all civilians).

I guess, it is going to be fun to see the disentegration of Koirala pseudo-dynasty, Nepali congress and as well  the UML in near future. I don't think, MKNepal is going to be the next president. Maoist will choose Sahana pradhan, so that ultimately they will have  both president and the PM ( because UML is either splitting or merging with Maoist. Don't have a doubt on that).

Well, I have more anger with Girija than I have with PrachanDe. Girija sold Nepal's democracy to Prachande's brothel.     Yes, that's what is going to be ultimately written in Nepal's history. These commies are going to rule for how long.... 10--12 --15 years... then what????  Then, the same people who once came to the street to make the PrachanDe as their new king will  again say ....सात बाम एक चिहान। ( all commies, one grave).....

Good luck......

Hi Amricane,

Yes, You like it or not; Girijo sold Nepal's democracy to Prachande's brothel in return for the position of Nepal's  first presidency. Of course, Prachande denied his payment once he has upper hand.... That's how he has been looting the country....Prachande promises one thing, but does the opposite.... Nepal's commies has done such things eversince.....

nepals democracy is not a single property of Girija. its the hope of all 27 million nepalese. and if u think about the next president is Girija, as well as i know about the nepalese politics my answer is not.. girija is not a choice of mao, UML and whole nepalese.

I agree Prachanda looted the nation as rebel but now he has responsibility of all nepalese future. I think he will be some responsible. lets c.

and my friend Nepalese communist are not bad. Madan Vandari, Baburam, are such great nepalese communist leader who will keep the name of nepalese Communism.

Well, I don't know what makes you , Amricane to believe on these commies....I can just ask to have some critical reasoning...

So far about Girija and Nepal's democracy; that's how he behaved. He thought and acted as if democracy is all in his pocket. He knew it that referendum on monarchy could have save the king and could have kept  the last weapon against communism in Nepal . That would have been a better way to establish the democratic norms. But, he did not because he wanted to be the first president....Well, he covered all those irregularities in the so called election and make himself a cause for the downfall of the congress party, because he just wanted to be the first president at any cost.......

I may have difference with many people who read this thread on the democratic base of the recent election. That election was to about making the new constitution. Why not Girija worked for subjecting the constitution itself in the election ( different parties should have presented different manifesto of constitution itself and people should have given the choice to select the one they like). Many people even did not understand , what that election was about. Don't argue about Girija and Nepal's democracy. He raped it and finally sold it to Prachande's brothel. That's a fact.

And one thing about your opinion about the commies:  Take my words, the day when people will say "सात बाम एक चिहान " is not too far.

Maoists could not bring republic despite their 12 years long arm struggle in Nepal. Maoists had to work with Girija, UML and other parties to bring democracy (is it democracy?) in Nepal. They (all parties) asked Girija to be the PM of Nepal. He was just waiting for right time to resign and he did it. Now you Moists, it's your time to show what you can do in the country. However, I got no hope but still let's see what will happen. Prachand came out just like others (who are after The Chair) and that's about it. I ain't Girija supporter but he did what he suppose to do and I am happy with that.

What about KP Oli? He is not supporting Maoists. Maoists can't have everything that they want. Nobody gonna say sh_t if Maoist dissolves  PLA & YCL and run the government. We all know, we need sustainable government to fix the country, and if they turn out good, they will win election all the time. However, they want everything right now "Tattai Khaun Jali Marun".

I hundred percent agree with this. By picking Sahana's name Maoist want to split down the UML by hitting on its downfall. Maoists have studied it well, how greedy the leaders of UML are. While UML was fractioned in past Sahada coupled with Bamdev were the major player. Bamdev has been considered as the leader with moral tilt towards Maoist. They will do it.

.........and it's not about who is winning and who is loosing. All the leaders are playing their games and they enjoy doing that. It's just like poker; sometime they loose and sometime they win. It dosen't matter for them. We (Nepalese people) are the real loosers. Why would they care about us?

We were told that monarchy was the cause of all problems in Nepal and now that it has been done away with - thanks in part to the magnanimous act of the king - what has really changed for a common man other than the miseries that he has to face on a daily basis only seems to have increased, not come down. The shortage of fuels has hit the country hard, further aggravated by petroleum dealers' indefinite strike bringing to complete halt the movement of public vehicles for the past several days and causing billions of rupees worth of loss to the national economy. As if this wasn't enough the people are having to put up with bandas and chakka jams almost every day as though there is a fierce competition among various groups to outdo one another without any concern for the hardship and inconvenience they cause to the populace. And then to cap it all, the people are having to grapple with sky rocketing prices of basic goods that defy gravity forcing many nepalis to go to bed with an empty stomach. The government is so hopelessly incompetant that it cannot even carry out its basic duty like dispose off the garbage that have cluttered streets and alleys of the capital giving off nauseating stench that can choke you to death if you don't run for cover. Let's not kid ourselves, the monarchy was never the problem. The genesis of Nepal's ills and problems lie in Girija Prasad Koirala, the most unprincipled and morally depraved person ever to have walked on the planet. He has been a curse to Nepal. Had he not existed, this country would not be in a situation half as bad as it is today and the history of the country would have taken a different course. Is it any wonder then despite all the maoists atrocities and murderous ways of the past and present, people still prefer and trust maoists than the congress. Why are we being made to suffer for Girija's stupid actions over which we have no control, the latest being his decision to abolish monarchy which is clearly going to be very detrimental to the country? It does not take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Girija is so harmful and destructive that I actually prefer Prachanda over him if I had to choose between the two.
