A few days ago, the poor servant working in the home of an influential figure in Naya Baneshwor was injured in the head at a scuffle. The influential person is question is a leading figure in Nepali Congress. But I was shocked and surprised at the same time to see the boy with bleeding head to be featured in a leading Daily next day and the whole thing was being blamed on the police force and government. Thankfully, I live next house to the servant boy and I found the truth about it.But how many of such baseless news are there? Anyone can guess.

I have even sent a letter to the newspaper to stop publishing such baseless news. But the question Are those kind of journalism desirable especially in current situation in Nepal?

I totally agree. Why do these parties have to use children in their campaign. If maoist recruit children in their armed forces to fight and they get killed then isnt it same thing that political parties are including minors for their use.

As far as yellow jounalism is concerned it is widesperead in nepal. It is headed by kantipur.
