I bought some prepaid phone cards called "Nepal Talk" from HIMTEL.COM on May 29, 2005. They sent me a receipt online with the following information:

Your order number: 2005052940880760.
Toll free # 1-877-537-0567
PIN # 8622366964
Customer Service # 1-866-847-2507

But the PIN number they sent me NEVER WORK !! Everytime I try to call, a recorded message says "...The PIN Number is Not Recognised." The above Customer Service # DOES NOT WORK either!! Everytime I call the customer service #; the same recorded message says" Mail Box is Full, Cannot Accept Message..". Thus, I am still unable to use this pre-paid phone card that I bought from HIMTEL.COM

Finally, I found a phone number of Himtel.com Sales Team 1800 543 6540 and called for help. But unfortunately I DID NOT GET ANY HELP FROM THEM, instead; one of their sales team member cheaply argued that I should have called them earlier and refused to help me. I have called manay manay times to the customer service number they sent me which is still not working. I have already paid for the card and they have taken my money but they refused to give my money and the service they are supposed to give.
They are not reliable and they are not customer oriented.

I ASK ALL; PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY CARD FROM HIMTEL.COM They CHEAT! I am CHEATED !! I DO NOT WANT YOU TO BE THE NEXT ONE !!!

My experience with HIMTEL.COM is VERY BAD !!! How is yours? Let's share !!

I have been using himtel since I remeber buying calling cards.. around 1998/1999.. i do not know when.. but they have been good..

Slightly expensive 20-28cents/min.. but quality has always been there.. ....

but its my experience.. others as yourself might have been disappointed

PS. you can always dispute the chage on your card.. [ you have 2 billing cycles to dispute it .. i assume you are using credit card...]

thapap and Bhrasta Netaa ji,

Appreciate your comments. A Himtel.com sales team member confessed on the phone today that the Nepal Talk pre-paid phone card is a "Cheap Quality Phone Card" they sold therefore a quality service cannot be assured and the Customer Service number they sent me cannot be reliable. My question is, since I paid for the service; at least I should given a "poor quality service" if they cannot give "a quality service". I did not get any service at all. It is a SHAME !! It is DISGUSTING !! Do you think it is fair?

As I wrote before, call your credit card provider
and they must have dipute policy. You can dispute it.
Tell everything about their website. If Himtel knows that
the cards not of good quality, consumer right law I guess
protects consumers from being cheated openly.

Well, in capitalism, intrepreting the truth is there, but
you should read "small characters" i.e. TOR written
in small characters. But, by telling that the cards sold
by us may not be of good quality as advertised here.
Thats straight cheating and you can make PDF file
(as it can keep the original outlook of the website) and
keep it for your reference. Then, go to your credit
card company and dispute it. I am sure they will return
your money. You should be able to convince them.
If you don't claim it, then the motive of Himtel
is justified. These companies gamble using statistical
and probability rules. Only a few people will dare to
dispute for a few dollars, this is how Himtel /SDIcard are
running their biz.
