Comedian Hari Bansha Acharya's wife and Radio Nepal anchor Meera Acharya passed away while undergoing treatment at the Kathmandu Model Hospital Wednesday morning. She was 46.
Director of the hospital Dr Bharat Pradhan informed that she breathed her last at 11:40 am following brain hemorrhage. She was admitted to the emergency ward on Monday when she complained of severe headache.
Meera, a mother of two sons, Trilok and Mohit, was a famous radio jockey, hosting a number of radio programmes for years. "Sangeet Sarobar" a musical programme on Radio Nepal was particularly famous.
She had tied marital knots with Hari Bansha in 1984
